As you know, the Idaho Association of Soil Conservation Districts began shooting a video to better tell our conservation story here in Idaho. The editing process started a few days ago, and we thought you’d enjoy this great shot of Delwyne Trefz who works for the Idaho Soil and Water Conservation Commission. We interviewed Delwyne at the site of a pivot irrigation system the Owyhee Conservation District. The Owyhee District and Delwyne worked with the land owner to install this pivot line, which has saved tons of sediment from running into Jump Creek.
We’ll be sharing more clips and photos from the video in the next coming weeks, so stay tuned!
